Migration from Eclipse Rap to Angular

We have over 20 years of experience in web technologies, thanks to which we know technologies that are already being replaced by newer solutions. One such technology is Eclipse RAP. We carried out a smooth migration of applications written in Eclipse RAP to Angular. Smooth migration consists in adding new functionalities in the new part of the system based on Angular and gradual migration of the functionality written in Eclipse RAP. Thanks to the use of a common oAuth 2.0 authorization module, users log in to the system once and can use new and old functionalities at the same time.

Collection of requirements

We collect requirements and learn about the client’s needs. We develop diagrams and documentation.

Graphic design. Mockups

Based on the analysis, we design application screens in the form of graphic files prepared inAdobe Photoshop or a fully clickable application mockup created in Adobe XD.

We modernize the distribution of applications written in Eclipse RAP. Thanks to the use of Ecpise Tycho, we are transferring the standard process of building applications to Maven. Thanks to this, the process of realization can be done in continuous integration environment, eg usingTeam City, Jenkins, Hudson. The process itself can be transferred to the cloud: AWS, Azure.
